The Gulf Branch project engagement resumes with a community meeting in June 2022. The design phase of the Gulf Branch Stream project began in 2019. It was put on hold in March 2020 due to budget uncertainty related to the COVID-19 pandemic, but is progressing again. We have project updates to share and will be hosting a virtual community meeting on Wednesday, June 22 at 6:30 p.m.
Gulf Branch is a high priority for a stream repair and resiliency project due to habitat degradation, active erosion, and infrastructure issues. For more information on the project objectives, including documents from previous meetings, please see: Gulf Branch Stream Resilience Project
