Honeywell Total Connect Comfort app and website not working

New updates are added at the bottom of this story…….

The original story (published March 14, 2022) follows:

Based in the United States, Resideo Technologies is a company created in 2018 from Honeywell. Their security systems and thermostats quickly became popular, generating over $5.8 billion in revenue in 2020.

In case you didn’t know, the Honeywell Total Connect Comfort app allows users to easily control their thermostats. Users can easily increase or decrease the temperature, program thermostats and view the current temperature.

That said, Honeywell Total Connect Comfort users are now reporting (1,2,3,4,5) that the application is not working. In addition to the app, the website also seems to be affected.

Many said they tried clearing the app’s cache and data and reinstalling the app, but to no avail. This is a very serious problem since people cannot control their thermostats remotely.

Fault Detector – a popular service that provides live fault information – also indicates that Honeywell Total Connect Comfort is down or not working.

Below are some reports from Honeywell Connect Comfort users complaining that the app and website are not working.

Are the servers down for the Honeywell Total Connect Comfort app? My Honeywell 9000 has lost internet connection and cannot connect to the app. Internet at home works well

Is @honeywell out of total connection convenience? My thermostat is disabled on my account and now when I try to log in the app closes. When I log into another account it loads fine

Turns out Honeywell commented on the issue and said they are aware that the Total Connect Comfort app and web portal are not working at this time.

Survey – We are aware that some of our customers are having issues with our application (TCC). The thermostat can still be used directly to control your heating and cooling system. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
